N Bira library inaugurated

IMPHAL, September 15: N Bira Library in Irabot Bhavan which was built under the sponsorship of N Bira’s family and under the guidance of Communist Party of India, Manipur was inaugurated today at Irabot Bhavan.

The inauguration function was attended by Dr M Nara, P Parijat and other leaders of Communist Party of India, Manipur.     

Speaking at the function Dr M Nara CPI said that the Peoples Publishers, New Delhi has agreed to sponsor the books for the library. There will varieties of book available at the library.    

He further expressed his concerned over the various issues facing in the state and said that Manipur does not have a proper economic policy and it is affecting the common people. Manipur has also law and orders problems. Steep prices rise of essential commodities has also added more problems for the common people especially people behind poverty line.

He urged the common people to protest against all these problems and to form a common platform to bring change in the society.

P Parijat speaking at the function added that the law and order problems in state are very serious. Corruption has affected the central government and the side effect of it can also be seen in the state.

He said that CPI is the only party which will bring change in the society. He further said that the CPI is opposing the government for the sake of people and urged the general public to unite to fight for their rights.
