IMPHAL, October 11: Sawombung Block registers win in today’s Kabaddi and Kho-Kho matches of the Women Sports Competition 2012 at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex organized by District Youth Affairs and Sports office, Imphal East under PYKKA scheme.
Sawombung Block defeated Keirao Bitra by 20-17 points in the final Kabaddi match.
Sawombung Block defeated Keirao Bitra Block by 51-40 points in the final Kho-Kho match.
Four players of the district were selected for the State level Women Sports competition for table tennis.
The four players are Elangbam Echal, Inglembi Soibam, Archana Hijam of Keirao Bitra Block and Neha Devi of Sawombung Block.
