IMPHAL, October 24: The proscribed United Revolutionary Front, URF has banned employees of Loktak Development Authority, LDA from leaving Manipur.
A statement issued by its secretary, information and publicity, AK Pibarel said that in connection with the Loktak scam, URF is conducting an investigation. Until the investigation completes, all staffs and officials of LDA are barred from leaving Manipur.
The statement further said that clarification publish on local dillies by LDA Project Director, Th Ibobi Singh on October 20 and 21, is an effort to mislead the people.
The URF also assured the people of Manipur that they will bring out the culprits involved in the scam and will make them apologised and admit their wrong doings infront of public.
