IMPHAL, March 5: Imphal West police commandos arrested three active members of KYKL from Haobam Marak Kha-Imphal School area yesterday at around 4 pm, said a release of the SP, Imphal West district.
According to the release, the arrested persons have been identified as Konthoujam Open alias Ibomcha (42) son of K Ibobi Singh of Ningthemcha Karong and Keisham Meghanath (46) son of K Shorchand Singh of Keishampat Aheibam Leirak.
One 9 mm pistol along with 13 live rounds in the magazine and one mobile handset and one scooter bearing registration No MN05-8327 were seized from them, the release said.
On follow up action, another active member of KYKL was also arrested at 4:55 pm from her residence identified as Thoudam (O) Jibanlata Devi, wife of Th Bhudhi Chandra Singh of Uripok Polem Leikai, it added.
