Manipur,IMPHAL, July 29: Even as the State has been facing intense scarcity of petroleum products following the massive landslide on a stretch of the Imphal Dimapur Highway at Phesama near Kohima, there is still fuel stock to last for seven days in the State.
It is learnt that the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) located at Chingmeirong has issued 36 KL of petrol and 88 KL diesel from its depot today.
The said quantities of petrol and diesel are meant to be distributed to 23 oil pumps tomorrow.
The report further said that the quantities of petrol and diesel given today, included for Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Churachandpur district.
Meanwhile, CAF and PD Minister M Okendro informed a team of reporters that necessary arrangements would be taken up to inform public of the oil pumps where fuel will be available for the day.
