IMPHAL, August 16: The present generation of the state must preserve the tradition and culture of Manipur which have been preserved for so many decades, said minister, Commerce and Industries Govindas Konthoujam, during the inaugural of the five day state level awareness cum demonstration program on ritual tradition in Manipur at Iboyaima Sanglen, Palace Compound organised by Manipur Naat Kanba Lup today.
Speaking at the function Govindas Konthoujam said the present youths need to understand the culture and tradition of the land properly.
He further added that such awareness cum demonstration program is very important and appropriate and the resolutions of the programme should be published as a handbook.
K Meghachandra, parliamentary secretary, Minor Irrigation and DIPR also attended the function.
