IMPHAL, Apr 28: The Manipur People’s Party has said in a press release that the present water scarcity is a result of the government’s lack of action.
It observed that the government need to initiate a new water police to solve the issue of water scarcity.
In the meantime, as the people continue to cope with price rise, they are subjected to water scarcity, it said.
The organisation appeals to the Government to bring down the prices and to work according to the needs of the people, it said.
