Bomb found

LAMKA, June 18: Residents of New Lamka were in a shock today after a bomb was found planted at the main intersection of the locality next to the Saulim Restaurant at College road.

A police team led by Churachandpur OC inspector MA Khan arrived at the scene and inspected the bomb.

The bomb which is said to be a crude bomb was disassembled by the OC in front of the public.

Soon enough, Suspension of Operation signatory, Zomi Revolutionary Army held two individuals suspected to have planted the explosive.

The two have been identified as Thangthianmuang son of Hauzachin of Seloan Veng ang and Khuppu son of Dalzachin of Zoar Veng and presently staying at Bugmual Village.
