IMPHAL, June 28: The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has strongly condemned the placing of a bomb at the gate of the girls’ hostel Dhanamanjuri College of Arts in a press note.
The Alliance has appealed for clarification on the threat to the public. It is a narrow-minded act, taken out by people who want to disturb the academic atmosphere, while DESAM has been demanding for disturbance free education, it said.
The release also appealed against such threats as education is the only path that can bring development to the society. It also further appealed to the Manipur government to look into the matter.
