27th Poumai Naotumai Me Raising Day observed

SENAPATI, Aug 9: Poumai Naotumai Me, the apex women organisations of Poumai community celebrated its 27th Raising Day today under the theme ‘Women and social upliftment’.

The day was observed by all the federal units in their respective places too.

Commomerating the auspicious occasion, PNM executive members, advisors and senior leaders had a get-together at its office in which Esther Vane Kade,  ex-women secy, PNBA spoke on the theme ‘ Women and Social upliftment’. In her speech, she shared that development, education and christianity without Christ is the reason why social upliftment and women empowerment can’t be brought about in our society. 

Therefore, she added that holistic development through justice, love, equality and integrety is a must for overall social upliftment.

Stressing on the importance of women, she said God could not be everywhere personally, so he make a woman. Therefore, woman is referred in a great way to make a good family and society with God.
