IMPHAL, Jan 7: The Kakching GPW Consumers`™ Welfare Union has said that a civil society delegation led by the union has met with the manager of the Leibaklei Gas Agent, Kakching and submitted a memorandum demanding clarification on the grievances faced by the consumers while applying the Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme.
According to a release of the Union, the copies of the memorandum were also submitted to the National Consumer Commission, Manipur State Consumer Commission, the Deputy Commissioner Thoubal and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Silchar Area Office).
