IMPHAL, February 28: As a part of the nationwide observance of National Science Day under the theme `Science for Nation Building` the State Biotech Hub (SBT Hub), Department of Bio-chemistry, Manipur University in collaboration with Central Library, Manipur University observed the day at Central Library hall today.
The function was attended by Dean School of Life Science, Prof W Bishwanath Singh as the chief guest.
Meanwhile, Th Uthan has been awarded with the first state Science Communicator Awards 2015 today at the National Science Day celebration at National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology (NIELIT), Akampat.
The award included one citation, a memento and a cash award of Rupees 10 thousand.
