KANGPOKPI, June 13: INC candidate from 9-Tujang District Council Constituency Lamkholen Kipgen who won uncontested in the ADC Election 2015 was felicitated at his Kholjang residence in a thanksgiving ceremony today.
The felicitation cum thanksgiving ceremony was attended by elected candidate of Kangpokpi DCC Haokholal Hangshing and Chongpu Kipgen, MCS, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi.
Apart from Pastor Paokhosat Kipgen, who graced the occasion as Thanksgiving Minister, various chiefs from the areas, CSOs including Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, church leaders and social workers also attended the function.
The function was organized to felicitate Lamkholen Kipgen on being elected Member of District Council for the second term and give thanks to the Almighty for his success and endeavour.
A grand feast marked the occasion.
