IMPHAL, June 13: The United Revolutionary Front (URF), a conglomerate of several faction of KCP in a statement issued by its chairman Lanheiba Meitei, stated that the outfit supports the stance adopted by the newly former United Liberation Front of Western South East Asia (UNLFW).
It further congratulated the victory of the soldiers who carried out successful assault on IOF recently, adding that it assures the public that the fight for independence will be victorious.
While referring to the comments that appeared on some media by two renowned sports woman of the state, the URF gave time to clarify on their stance.
It further questioned whether the media had misquoted them during the interview?
He opined that it was not the revolutionary groups who endorse violence but the IOF.
