IMPHAL, Jul 21: In the backdrop of the ongoing mass movement demanding enactment of a new bill to monitor the alarming influx of non-locals into the state, which has posed an imminent threat to the indigenous people, Aad Aadmi Party (AAP) Manipur has decided to produce a draft bill on Inner Line Permit System (ILPS).
According to reports, the draft bill is to be produced to facilitate the efforts of the government to enact a fresh bill acceptable to the people. The party has already started taking up necessary measures to do the needful. Preparation of the draft bill will be completed by July 25 and will be submitted to the government for consideration.
