Will not hold talks with government until demands are met: JCILPS, Student Wing

IMPHAL, Jul 21: The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System, Students Wing has informed that it will not hold any talk with the government until its demand are fulfilled.

A statement of the student wing said that it welcomes the invitation from the State government for talks to discuss the issue of re-opening of schools in the Greater Imphal area with the Education minister delivered through the Education Director.

It said however, until the government fulfills its demand a judicial inquiry against the police personnel involved in the death of Robinhood and their subsequent punishment and release of the students arrested during the present movement.

The statement has also expressed gratitude to all the public, organisations, meira paibis, local clubs who have joined in the movement.
