Air India increases free baggage allowance

IMPHAL, August 12: The Air India has notified to all its travelling passengers by Air India flights that passengers holding confirmed ticket for travelling from Imphal to Guwahati, Kolkata and Delhi by Air India flights are required to report at the check-in counter at Imphal Airport one hour ahead of departure time of the respective flight.

According to a release of the company, passengers who do not report at the said reporting location in time will not be accepted for boarding the flight.

Air India has revised its free baggage allowances as 15kgs for adult and child with no infant and revised 25 kg for adult and child which includes 10 kg for infant for all passenger purchasing tickets from August 12 to September 2 for travelling, it said.
