BISHNUPUR, December 8: A three day long Tourist Guides Training was inaugurated today at the Bharat Nirman Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra conference hall, Toubul organised by the Rural Tourist Centre, Toubul (RTCT).
The inaugural function was attended by Prof N Mohendro Singh Eminent Economist and Chief Advisor RTCT, W Borpati Devi Pradhan Toubul Gram Panchayat and Y Thoiba Singh retired Asst. Teacher Toubul Hich School, as chief guest, president and guest of honour.
L Ibochoubi Singh retired Tourist Officer who attended as the resource person, shed lights on the pre-requisite in becoming an efficient Tourist Guide for both Domestic and Foreign.
Altogether 45 individuals from Toubul participated in the training programme.
Toubul GP who is also the RTCT president, W Bormani Devi spelled out the plans of the RTCT to build a tourist spot base on water resource targeted to be inaugurated by February 21, 2016.
