IMPHAL, Jan 19: The State Government is celebrating Statehood Day on January 21, 2016 (also a Government Holiday for Emoinu Iraapta) at Manipur Film Development Corporation Hall at Palace Gate, Imphal.
In a statement the Chief Secretary of Manipur, O Nabakishore Singh, said that attendance in such State functions by State Government officers when they are invited formally is also a unique privilege.
Subsequently, it informed all section officers upon the administrative heads of Departments working in Manipur Secretariat as well as all departmental officers from the rank of Deputy Director upto Heads of Departments whose offices are located within Imphal West and Imphal East Districts shall ensure their attendance in the Statehood Day.
