Seeking clarification from the Manipur University authority over its press statement issued on September 21 and 22 within 28 of this month, Manipur University Tribal Students’ Union (MUTSU) warned to take serious course of agitation from September 29.
A press release of the student body signed by its Information and Publicity Secretary, Hekai Lhouvum alleged that the MU authority is not clear with its statement by mentioning that they (MU authority) followed the Amendment 2012 (34%) and at no stage they followed the state norms (31%).
