5 JAK RIF conducts Awareness Programme On Blood Donation

5 JAK RIF of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted an awareness programme on volunteer blood donation at JNIMS, Porompat on the occasion of NCC day i.e. 26 Nov 2017.

The camp was organised jointly by the Army personnel and cadets of 14 (M) Bn NCC. These cadets are presently undergoing two weeks of training camp being organised at COB Nambol and the camp is in the last few days of its culmination.

The camp started with a brief awareness speech about blood donation by Dr Surjit, Officer-in-Charge, Blood Bank, JNIMS followed by the blood donation. A total of 06 army personnel and 33 NCC cadets participated in the camp.
