IMPHAL, Aug 20: As per information received from reliable sources, a Tata truck bearing registration number AS01/1556 was allegedly hijacked by unidentified persons bearing small arms from Kangpokpi area at around 2.30 pm yesterday.
The truck carrying rations for the army was travelling at the end of the convoy and the armed persons taking advantage of the situation allegedly hijacked the truck.The whereabouts of the loaded vehicle and the driver is still unknown.
