Imphal, Sep 27: An ‘Awareness program on Climate Change’ was organized by the Women’s Organization for Research and Development (WORD) on September 26 at Kakching under the NEAC 2009-2010 sponsored by the Environment and Ecology Wing of the government of Manipur. As per a press note issued by WORD, there were about 43 participants at the program where N.Radhamohon Singh and G.Kenedy (Science Graduate Teacher) deliberated on environment issues like Preservation of Natural Resources, Climate Change, Global Warming and its impact. Also, as part of the program the organization planted tree saplings at Kakching in Thoubal district, Manipur.
