IMPHAL, September 28: A week long National Integration Camp kicked off today at the complex of Women Income Generation Centre, Wangmataba, Thoubal organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoubal.
According to a release of the DIO, Thoubal, campers from six states Assam, Nagaland, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Manipur are taking part in the camp.
The inaugural function was attended by M Okendro Singh, MLA, K Meghachandra Singh and Thoubal DC RK Dinesh Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
During the week long camp, the campers will exhibit and compete in various fields including cultural programmes, yoga, symposium, quiz contest etc.
The camp will also have an exhibition to showcase the various renowned handicraft products of the state, added the release.
