IMPHAL, Oct: The Chairman of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland S.S. Khaplang deeply mourned the sudden demise of Achou Toijamba, chairman of the Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup, KYKL, according to a statement issued by the organisation’s deputy kilonser, MIP, P. Tikhak.
It said that while paying his last respect and tribute to the departed leader the chairman said that the Late Achou Toijamba was one of the great leaders among the indigenous people of the North East. He had a great vision for his people in particular and the entire Northeast region as a whole.
He will be always be remembered by his people and the others for his yeoman service to the society in different capacities, the statement quoted the NSCN(K) chairman.

The statement said Khaplang also appealed to the KYKL not to lose heart. They should rather work hard to fulfil the dreams of the late leader, praying that the good God grant his family members enough courage and strength to overcome the situation and also grant the departed soul peace and solace in His heavenly abode.
