IMPHAL, Nov 1: The supritending engineer of Khuga Project Circle, IFCD Manipur, has clarified that monitoring and quality control of Khuga multipurpose project is done regularly by the director, monitoring & apprisal directorate, Central Water Commission, Guwahati.
A statement issued by SE Khuga Project said the directorate is the field unit of CWC, for the North East under the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India.
The monitoring being done at the Khuga Project is in addition to the normal and routine quality control measures taken up by the project authority. The director and his staff make annual inspection of the project as a part of monitoring and quality control.
