IMPHAL, Oct 11: A one day extended RCH outreach free medical health camp was organized at PHSC T. Khullen Village, under Community Health Centre Kangpokpi.
It was organized to reach the unreached/remote areas under the implementation of National Rural Health Mission programme of Medical Mobile Unit.
Doctors both specialist and non-specialist, nurses and para-medical staffs examined 544 patients out of the 565 patients registered. The gynaecology department examined 50 patients, medicine department examined 66 patients, pediatrics department examined 64 patients, Ayush department examined 87 patients, surgery department examined 28 patients, general OPD examined 119 patients, ENT examined 13 patients, eye OPD examined 86 patients, dental OPD examined 31 patients.
In the Lab examination 3 patients were tested for TB, 3 patients for VDRL, 3 patient for blood grouping, 4 patient for H/B, 7 patient for malaria, 10 patient for HIV and special immunization was conducted with 11 children immunized during the medical camp. Free Ultrasound was provided to 24 patients and 19 patients were taken X-ray. Free medicines were provided to all the patients.
A total of 49 medical and non medical personnel were involved during the One Day Extended RCH Outreach Free Medical Health Camp.
