IMPHAL, Oct 22: The People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) in a statement of its publicity officer Sanju Oinam, has contradicted the surrender ceremony held yesterday at Mantripukhri IGAR (S), as a stage managed episode.
It asserted that the two who were identified as PREPAK cadres namely one sergeant major Thingbaijam Herojit singh, army No.105, s/o Rajamani of Khurai Lairikyengbam Leikai and corporal Abung s/o Basanta Singh of Pukhao, who were among the individuals who laid down arms before the Chief Minister, is in no way related to the outfit and its red army.
It further asserted that the stage managed ceremony is not a new thing to the people and asserted it is an attempt to fuel confusion in the ongoing revolutionary movement.
