IMPHAL, March 13: The Churachandpur District Students’ Union, CDSU has extended its hearty congratulations to the newly elected representatives of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly from Churachandpur district.
In a press statement, the student body has urged the people of the district to fully support the elected representatives and ensure unity, responsiveness, efficacy and bottom-up development of the district.
It has further appealed to the elected representatives to strive forward for peace, development and inclusive growth of the people, irrespective of caste/tribe, creed, religion or party affiliations.
The CDSU urges all the Members of Legislative Assembly (hailing from Churachandpur district) to lead the people to the path of growth and development (as they have promised them) justly, equally and without any tinge of parochialism as well as to accord priority to the ‘district issues’, the statement added.
