IMPHAL, Mar 22: The Deputy Commissioner/DEO, Chandel has notified to all the Contesting Candidates and their Election Agents of the 2 Assembly Constituencies of Chandel District, 41-Chandel (ST) AC and 42- Tengnoupal (ST) AC that they are required to lodge a true copy of the account of Election Expenses with the District Election Officer within 30 days of the declaration of the result of the election, failing which may result in disqualification of the candidate concerned by the Election Commission of India. Further, one day facilitation training for all the Candidates and their Election Agents and personnel engaged for receiving the accounts will be held on March 26, 2012 at 11:00 am in the DRDA Training Hall, DC’s office complex, Chandel. All the Candidates or their Election Agents and personnel engaged for receipt of the accounts of the Candidates are informed to attend the said training on time without fail, informed a statement of DC/DEO, Chandel.
