IMPHAL, May 4: Manipur has bagged seven gold medals so far in the 36th edition National Arm-wrestling Championship held at Aizawl, Mizoram.
Manipur Arm-wrestlers who bagged gold are, Ambrabati took the champions of champion title again in the women’s category, T Sharat took the champions of champion title in the Master’s category, S Aruna took the champions of champion title in the junior girl’s category, Ch Miranda in 55 kg, Th Sarat in Master100 kg and S Inao in senior 85 kg.
Others are, A Premila (45 kg) silver, Ch Anuradha (50 kg) silver, M Abbe (50 kg) bronze, Rojimala (55 kg) bronze, L Chaoba (70) silver, Kh Sanjit Kumar ( senior 90 kg) bronze, Th Sarat (senior 100 kg) silver.
