IMPHAL, May 27: The Department of Forensic Medicine convened a condolence meeting on May 26 at 11am inside the department under the chairmanship of Professor H Nabachandra, Head of Depart Changou Rongmei, Grade IV staff of the department on May 24.
According to a press statement of the department, a two minute silence was observed during the meeting in respect of the departed soul.
The meeting further decided to sanction a sum of Rs 5000 from the department welfare fund and hand over the same to the bereaved family, the statement added.
