IMPHAL, May 3: Kabui Development Voluntary Organization (KDVO) has convened a meeting on May 2 at MDU hall to discuss and find out ways to save the Kabuis, which it says has become an endangered community.
KDVO accused the Indian government of de-recognizing the history of Manipur and that the government removed the Kabuis from the list of Scheduled Tribe on January 9, 2011, while adding that the Kabuis have documented in the over 2000 years old history of Manipur.
