IMPHAL, May 8: Md Obedulla alias Ibomcha of Keirak Muslim Leikai whom the 42 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under IGAR (S) claimed to have arrested has no any connection with PREPAK, the banned outfit claimed in a statement Tuesday.
PREPAK said there is neither a rank of Major in its “Red Army” nor a person called by name Obedulla, who was arrested along with a 9 mm pistol with two rounds by the AR team during a search operation reportedly carried out at Nungourok.
