IMPHAL, May 4: Several student bodies on Friday staged a sit-in protest over the alleged murder of Loitam Richard at Shamu Makhong, Kwairamband Bazaar.
The demonstration was participated by AMSU, DESAM, KSA, SWAK, SWUK and MSF which demanded capital punishment for the culprits involved in the alleged murder of Richard.
They said the protest was organized to push their demand upon the state government to expedite the alleged murder case of Richard by probing it with the help of Karnataka government and to protect all the Manipuri students who are learning outside.
