IMPHAL, May 25: The UCM today expressed confidence that the deployment of 13 security personnel headed by an Assistant Sub-Inspector to guard Kekrupat will be continued with utmost sincerity.
UCM said the decision to deploy security personnel at Kekrupat where memorial tombstones are lying was taken after the UCM urged upon the concerned authorities of the state government in the regard, according to a statement.
It also lauded the Councillor and Ward Member of Ward No-26 of Imphal Municipal Council for cleansing the area ahead of the 11th Great June Uprising Day 2012.
