IMPHAL, June 27: Assam Riffles units under IGAR(S) observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking by organizing seminar, rallies, audio visual lectures and awareness programmes. During all the functions at different locations, people from various NGOs, representatives from JNIMS, member of Art of living Imphal, Anjuman Islab-E-Mausahra and students and teachers of Enternal String School were incorporated to give the efforts of Assam Rifles more meaning. 30 AR at Sekta, 15 AR at Thoubal and Yairipok, 28 AR at Lilong Higher Secondary Madarassa and 27 AR at Sugunu under HQ 9 Sector, 24 AR Kwatha under HQ 26 Sector, 37 AR at Joupi under HQ 28 Sector and 23 AR at Shangskhak under HQ 10 Sector had observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and IllicitTrafficking, said a PRO release.
