IMPHAL, June 13: Police today recovered a Chinese hand grenade which was placed close to the residential gate of Maimom Chaoba, a special contractor at Uripok Khaidem Leikai under Imphal Police Station, police said.
Chaoba is also the owner of Machu Cinema Hall, Shamurou. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far and at the same time it was not clear about the motive behind the bomb threat.
