IMPHAL, June 24: The Popular Front of India, Manipur State Committee continue to set ablaze textbooks decrying the projected image of Prophet Mohamed in print.
Mentioned may be made that the Popular Front of India had set textbooks published by Prime publications carrying the image of the Prophet decrying that it violates the laws of Islam as there is still no known image of the Prophet in the world.
Around 3000 textbooks carrying the image were set ablaze today at the Hatta office of the PFI.
President Burhanmuddin said since it is the time of summer breaks in most schools, the committee is unable to collect the books on a larger scale at the present moment, however the committee will continue with their drive against the textbook.
