IMPHAL, June 14: Director of Health Services felicitated FW/GAD/CADA Minister Phungjathang at the Kangla Hall, Kangla Fort, Imphal today.
The felicitation programme was also attended by Commissioner Health & FW, Moses Chalai and Director, Health Services Dr Sh Shurchandra Sharma.
Speaking at his felicitation, Phungzathang Tonsing urged the Doctors and Nurses to work sincerely.
He continued there are instances when doctors and nurses who are sharp otherwise have been found neglecting their duties.
He said the government will start collecting monthly reports of all health care centres of the state.
Dr Sh Shurchandra said today’s doctors should try to imbibe the spirit and energy shown by the doctors from the past era.
He urged the government to fill in the post left void by the departure of the Grade III and IV doctors.
The function was also attended by doctors, nurses and staffs of the department.
