Japanese Hospital staff feted

IMPHAL, June 20: A prize distribution of Japanese Hospital Manipur of good service of employees was held at the Manipur Press club on Wednesday under the sponsorship of Japanese 2nd World War Victims Memorial Hospital Trust Manipur.

L Ibomcha, MLA, Keishamthong constituency, TM Rajen Ayangba, Dr T Meinya, MP Lok Sabha, E Chand , MLA, Yaiskul constituency and S Rajmani Sharma attended the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

MLA Ibomcha while speaking on the occasion reiterated that a Bill on the salaries of private schools and private hospitals employees will be introduced in the upcoming Monsoon Session of the state Assembly.

MP Dr Meinya claimed that there is enough manpower for development of National Rural Health Mission but lack of proper infrastructure like roads, electricity and water have hampered it.

He also said unemployed nurse, doctor and other people will get jobs at the Japanese Hospital.

Rajen Ayangba asserted that other private hospitals in the state will not affect by the Japanese Hospital. He appealed to all concerned not to demand financial assistance from the trust.
