It is for kind acknowledgement by all the concerned authorities that, the Polling Stations were proposed and created as per the convenience of the voters and joint decisions of the chiefs and is purely based on public interest, it continued.

The JAC therefore warns that the decisions taken by some of the Members of ADC Chandel on June 15 shall not be accepted by the concerned authorities and sought the interference of the concerned MLA not to shift the existing Polling Stations in public interest, the statement said.

The JAC will be compelled to launch serious agitations if the said proposals are not withdrawn immediately and that all consequences shall be the responsibility of JN Baite and the concerned officials and that the JAC shall not be blamed for any consequences arising thereof, it said.
