IMPHAL, June 28: A government statement has notified that Dangmei Manglem, Executive Magistrate, Keirao Bitra has been appointed by the District Magistrate, Imphal East to conduct the Magisterial Enquiry into the alleged killing of two youths Md Ishaque and Md Mustakim in Imphal East District on January 1, 2012.

The terms of reference of the enquiry are: facts and circumstances leading to the incident, analysis of the facts and circumstances, finding base on the facts and circumstances and analysis thereof, recommendation to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.

Any person(s) willing/desiring to give evidence or produce any material/documents before the Enquiry Authority in connection with the aforementioned enquiry/is/are requested to submit his/her particulars to the Executive Magistrate Keirao Bitra, Imphal East District on or before July 10 during office hours.           

IMPHAL, June 25: Directorate of Minorities, Other Backward Classes & SC, Government of Manipur has notified that applications under Economic Development Programme i.e. poultry, fishery and vegetable schemes for the year 2011-2012 are requested to submit their documents for screening for selection of beneficiaries from July 3 to 7. Only three schemes were approved for the implementation under EDP 2011-12 and the rest of the schemes are treated as cancelled due to paucity of fund. No further complain will be entertained for those absentee after these stipulated dates. Details of screening/interview can be available from scheme officers concerned during office hours.        

IMPHAL, June 11: Applications are invited from the willing candidates for selection/nomination of B.E/B.Arch and B.Pharm courses against the reserved seats of Manipur in various Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges/Institutes for the session 2012-2013.

Application forms for counselling of the above courses shall be issued from the office of the Controller of Technical Education, Takyel, Imphal. Last date of submission of forms is on or before July 15. Detailed information can be had from office of the Controller of Technical Education, Takyel, Imphal during office hours. 

IMPHAL, June 11: Directorate of Health services, Manipur has notified in a statement that the result of the Manipur MBBS/BDS entrance examination, 2012, which was held on June 10, is hereby declared today at 5:45 am. Selected list as well as wait list category-wise will be separately drawn up later, on the basis of this result on merit, as when the total numbers of MBBS/BDS seats are made available.
