IMPHAL, June 7: Thoubal district police commandos have arrested a woman cadre of the banned KCP (Wanglen) group from her residence at Thiyam Siphai Laimangol in the district, stated a press statement.
Police sources said she was involved in the Thoubal NRL grenade attack.
She is identified as Thingujam Lata, wife of Th Biren.
She was arrested by the Thoubal police district commando team from her residence around 5:30 pm yesterday.
One Chinese hand grenade, one mobile handset were seized from her possession, they added.
