IMPHAL, June 29: A combined team of CDO Thoubal and 42 AR arrested a PREPAK activist during a search operation at Bijoypur Village at about 8:20 pm yesterday.
The arrested person is identified as Kshetrimayum Singhajit Singh, 45, son of Ksh Mangijao Singh of Kakching Moirangthem Leikai and recovered one Chinese made hand grenade from his possession, said a release of the Thoubal police.
Meanwhile, a PRO IGAR (S) release has said that a KCP (Wanglem) cadre identified as s/s pvt Md Mustakim, 23 son of Md Nejamuddin of Lilong Makha leikai was arrested from Kakching bazar, Thoubal on June 28.
A Chinese hand grenade was recovered from the him.
