IMPHAL, June 10: A 57-year-old man was killed when a Maruti van hit him at Khurai Chingabam Leirak under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East just after midday Sunday.
The victim is identified as Moirangthem Bhagawan, son of late M Mohen of Khurai Chingabam Leikai.
A case has been registered with the Porompat Police Station in connection with the incident.
The body has also been kept at JNIMS mortuary for post mortem examination, police said.
