IMPHAL, July 9: Altogether four government bills, namely Manipur Value Added Tax (1st Amendment) Bill, 2012, The Manipur Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Bill, 2012, The Manipur Professions, Trades, Callings and Employment Taxation (8th Amendment) Bill, 2012 and The Manipur Municipalities (6th Amendment) Bill, 2012 have been passed by the state assembly today.
MLA Ng Bijoy, revenue and law minister Th Devendra, MLA Dr Ibohanbi and MLA L Ibomcha participated in the deliberation of the bills.
