IMPHAL, July 2: 15 Assam Rifles felicitated outstanding national and international players today at its Battalion HQ, Thoubal. The occasion was graced by commandant of 15 Assam Rifles. Seven international players and 20 national players were awarded during the felicitation ceremony. Amongst the awardees were Arjun Awardee and International Wushu Player W Sandhyarani Devi.
As a mark of appreciation a certificate was handed over to the players. The players conveyed their appreciation and gratitude to 15 Assam Rifles for enhancing players-military collaboration.
In another separate occasion,24 Assam Rifles organised a lecture on alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and illegal trafficking at Tegnoupal on Sunday.More than 250 villagers attended the event.
