IMPHAL, July 16: K Bina Devi, Bpr, will meet H Tinalisha Devi of Imphal West in the final of the Girls Sub Jr A-46 kg of the ongoing state level boxing championship at the Khuman Lampak Boxing Stadium.
The 2nd Sub Junior, XIX jr, XXIV Senior Mens, 1st Sub-Junior, V Junior and XI Senior Womens state level boxing championship, 2012 had started on July 15.
In the first semi final of the sub jr girls, L Sonia Devi, I/E defeated L Mala Chanu, Tbl in the C-48 kg, H Tinalisha Devi, I/W defeated L Elizabeth Devi, NSA in A-46 kg while K Bina Devi, Bpr defeated M Geetanjli Chanu in the same category.
In the semi-final bout of the junior boys’ semi-final bout Kh Kanheiya Meitei, Tbl defeated Ph Australia Singh, I/E in the 56 kg; Ch Kiran Kumar Singh, TBL defeated K Mani Meitei, I/E in the 60 kg; Kh Suresh Singh, Bpr defeated R Rengnei Son Aimol, CCpur in the 64 kg and L Narendrajit Meitei, I/E defeated L Rakesh Singh, BPR in the 69 kg.
In senior men’s 52 kg semi-final bout, A Hemchandra meite, I/W defeated O Inao Singh, MPSC; G Dinesh Sharma, I/W defeated H Bhaskar Singh, MPSC in 60 kg; T Rajeshwor Singh, Bpr defeated M Johe Kom, CCpur in 60 kg, H Nando Singh, I/E defeated Th Zewel Singh, MPSC in 64 kg; Th Inaosana Singh, Bpr defeated S Boy Singh, I/E in 75 kg while Ng Suranjoy Singh, MPSC defeated Herojit Chingambam, CCpur in 75 kg.
