IMPHAL, July 14: SWC, Waikhong and KFC, Kakching registered easy wins in today’s matches of the ongoing 9th Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football Tournament, 2012 at the Kakching DSA ground.
SWC, Waikhong drubbed AIFA, Irengband with a 8-1 scoreline.
SWC was helped by Priyo with four goals in the 18th, 43rd, 58th and 71st minutes of play, while H Mangi (11th min), Hari (32nd), Angangthoi (57th) and Ibomcha (68th) scored a goal each.
James scored the consolation goal for AIFA in the 10th minute.
Spain of AIFA was awarded a yellow card in the 63rd minute of play.
In the second ground match today, KFC defeated SWC, Keirak by 6-2.
Roben (50th, 77th), Angampu (51st, 83rd) and Wangchiring (56th, 68th) scored two goals each while Ajoy and Prabin scored a goal each for the losing side in the first half of the match.
SWC scorer Ajoy and his teammate Bishorjit were awarded yellow cards, while Thangkhalel of KFC was also awarded a caution.
On July 17, YWU, Kakching will meet SWC, Waikhong while, SAO, Kakching will meet AIFA, Irengband.
